T-Rays- The best biscuits in town! Try one of their delicious biscuit sandwiches or just get them with gravy.

Aloha Bagel- My favorite is the Eggel bagel on a cheddar bagel.

The Happy Tomato- The Max sandwich with pimento cheese, so good! While your waiting to order try to find yours truly on their wall. Hint: its an old newspaper clipping, I signed it

Moon River Pizza- Try the meatball or Maui Wowee pizza with the gorgonzola salad. And then dip your crust into the dressing from the salad!

Bethy's Favorite:

The Salty Pelican- Get there early because it can get crowded. Go to the second floor and watch the sunset with some tuna nachos and a margarita to keep you company!

Walk the beach

You might be able to find some shark teeth if you've got the patience! Or just take in the beautiful view and the feel of the sand in between your toes.

The stars and moon over the ocean is a view worth seeing and one you'll surely not want to miss out on while you are here.

Peruse the shops downtown

Some of our favorite stores are Color it Green and Fantastic Fudge ice cream store. We love to walk on the docks and admire all of the different boats there.

Play mini golf at Gregor MacGregor's

Located downtown, enjoy a game of mini golf after getting lunch. They also serve a great assortment of beers and mixed drinks.

Visit Fort Clinch

Enjoy a beautiful tree covered drive that ends in the historic Civil War fort. If you climb up onto the second floor of the wall you can look across the Amelia River and see Cumberland Island. You might get to see one of the Cumberland wild horses too!

Bike/walk along the Green Way

A little slice of marsh cutting through the middle of the island is home to lots of wild life. Keep an eye out for blue herrings, great egrets, rabbits, deer, turtles, and gators.

Get some DeNucci's

A cute multicolored building that serves great ice cream. Their dole whip of the week is always a great option!
