While we love all of your children, we are kindly requesting an adult only celebration unless otherwise noted on your invitation.

We kindly ask that only individuals addressed on the invites celebrate with us.

Valet parking is provided to all guests throughout the ceremony/reception. Alternatively, you may self-park in the Greenleaf Elementary School parking lot approximately one block from the venue and walk (about a 7 minute walk). A permit was issued to us by the school district for use of the lot, so no worries leaving vehicles overnight if need be! Additionally, Uber/Lyft operate in the area frequently for guests needing transportation to and from nearby hotels, etc.

We will have a buffet style dinner with a vegetarian option.

Yes, bartenders have been hired and will be providing wine, beer/seltzers, and various non-alcoholic options throughout the night. Please don't forget to tip your bartenders!

Both the ceremony and reception will be outdoors at the Kukowski residence located at 7290 132nd St W, Apple Valley, MN 55124. Once you arrive, you will see signage directing you to the back of the property down a small incline to where the ceremony will take place. Cocktail hour and the reception will follow immediately on the same property - cocktail hour in the backyard with the reception in the front yard under the tent. Guests can feel free to meander the property as well if they so choose. Being that guests will be stepping on grass throughout the day/night, stiletto or otherwise-thin heels are not recommended.

While we hope for blue skies and comfortable Minnesota summer temperatures, please be prepared for potential rain and warm and humid weather.

We will be having both the ceremony and reception under the tent in the front yard if the weather is bad.

The restrooms will be located near the tent/reception in the front yard.

We have reserved a room block at both the GrandStay Hotel and Conference in Apple Valley and the Candlewood Suites Eagan - Arpt South in Eagan. Please book your stay by June 24th to guarantee a room in our block. Mention the Kukowski-Forbes wedding while booking to receive our reduced rate. See the Travel section of this website for more information on the reserved hotel blocks and additional nearby hotels.

If you miss the deadline to reserve a room in our block, reach out to the hotel and mention our wedding anyway—they may be able to accommodate you with our discount in a room outside of our block. If not, you can find additional nearby accommodations on our travel page.

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! We are not registered anywhere, but in lieu of traditional gifts we would be grateful for any cash contributions towards our honeymoon. A wedding card box will be at our reception.

The ceremony will start at 3:30pm, so we recommend arriving at the venue at least 30 minutes ahead of the ceremony start time to ensure you have enough time for valet or to walk to the ceremony from the parking lot at the nearby school (about a 7 minute walk) and find a seat.

Our reception will end around 9/9:30pm due to the city noise ordinance. While we do not have an after party planned at this time, we would love to continue the celebration with the people we love so any local ideas are welcome!
