Why Hawaii???
Hawaii has always felt like a place where love slows down and everything feels a little more meaningful. We fell in love with its natural beauty, peaceful energy, and the way it brings people together. Celebrating our marriage surrounded by the ocean, the islands, and the spirit of aloha feels like the perfect reflection of who we are and the love we share.
Save the Date
Save-the-dates will be sent electronically to simplify planning; formal invitations with full details will follow.
Guest List
We are deeply grateful to those traveling to Honolulu to celebrate with us. To keep our ceremony and reception intimate, please note that attendance is limited to the guests named on each invitation. We warmly welcome any loved ones joining you in Honolulu to attend the welcome events and post-ceremony festivities.
When should I RSVP?
The RSVP will be indicated on the formal wedding invitations. We kindly ask that if you already know you won’t be able to join us, we would be so grateful if you could let us know early. Our guest list is limited to immediate family, and this consideration allows us to include other dear friends or relatives if space becomes available.
Can I bring my children?
Due to limited space and so all guests can relax and enjoy the evening, our wedding is adults only. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you in Honolulu.
What airport am I flying into?
You’ll be flying into Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) in Honolulu. 🌴✈️
Do I need a passport?
U.S. citizens flying from the mainland to the State of Hawaii do not need a passport. A government‑issued photo ID, such as a REAL ID–compliant driver’s license, is sufficient.
When should I arrive or depart?
We recommend arriving in Honolulu 1–2 days before the wedding to recover from travel, explore a bit, and attend any welcome events. For departure, plan to leave the day after the main festivities or later if possible so you can enjoy post-wedding brunches and island activities.
How far is the airport from the hotel blocks?
The airport is approximately a 30‑minute drive from the hotel blocks.
Will I need a car rental while in Hawaii?
The hotels we recommend are conveniently located within walking distance of restaurants, shops, bars, and the beach. If you plan to venture beyond the immediate area, we recommend using a rental car or rideshare service such as Uber or Lyft. Please note that on-site parking is available at each hotel for a daily fee, typically ranging from $50–$75 per day.
Where is the venue?
We’re keeping the exact venue secret for now — it’s a beautiful beachfront estate about a 15‑minute shuttle ride from the hotel blocks.
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
The location is a beachfront estate that will feature both indoor and outdoor areas. Please dress appropriately!
Transportation
The venue will provide shuttle service between the hotel and the property. Exact pickup locations and departure times will be posted here as the wedding date approaches—please check back for updates. Shuttle use is required because the venue has no guest parking; if you miss your scheduled shuttle, please arrange an Uber or Lyft, as personal vehicles are not permitted on the property. At the end of the night the shuttle will return guests to the hotel, or the after-party location.
Wedding Attire
Elevated resort attire: polished and celebratory, yet comfortable for a beautiful destination setting in Honolulu.
Women: Dresses or chic separates with wedges, flats, or dressy sandals; skinny heels are discouraged due to the venue surface.
Men: Collared shirts with tailored trousers or chinos; shorts and flip-flops are not permitted.
Please avoid overly casual attire such as denim, beachwear, or athletic wear.
Will there be an after‑party?
The ceremony and reception will conclude promptly at 8:00 PM. Shuttles will depart then to return guests to the hotel blocks or to the after‑party location (to be confirmed). If you’d like to continue celebrating, please join us — we welcome any loved ones who traveled with you to attend the after‑party.
Will there be an open bar?
Yes — we will have an open bar offering beer and classic cocktails, along with a variety of non‑alcoholic beverages. Shots are NOT permitted on the venue grounds; please save those for the after‑party.
Smoking
The Estate is a non‑smoking venue. Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas; smoking inside the hale or on the lanai is not allowed and may result in the couple forfeiting their refundable damage deposit for excessive cleaning.
