July 5, 2015 was the first Graeme and I met at Wild River Grille during an Artown Event. We totally enjoyed each others company and ended up eating dinner there enjoying the music outside. It was a wonderful evening. Then we went and listened to other concerts at Artown and walked around until after midnight shutting it down. We walked the river most of night and had so much to share with each other. Needless to say, after our first encounter and spending so much time together, we started dating and having a great time throughout the month of kJuly going to a lot of the Artown events. We ended up at Bartley Ranch one night going to see Clint Black and many more great events. During the summer, we continued to go hiking, mountain biking, boating, jet skiing, paddle boarding kayaking and wine tasting all around California.
When winter came around, Graeme continued with his ski patrol for downhill skiing and I went occasionally. We both enjoy the snow. We both have our own passions but share them together. I have a passion for fast cars and fast boats and Graeme has a passion for off road vehicle’s and totally loves going 4-wheeling with the Jeep club.
We belong to the Sierra Nevada Porsche Club and the Tahoe Donner Jeep Club. Since I’m President of the Porsche club, we both stay really active and involved with the Porsche Club. It’s a very active club and always going things. We both love to travel and need to make more time for that.
When we decided to get married after being together for 7 years, it has taken us 2 more years to finally put this together. Now going on 9 years, we decided it was time and more importantly, we wanted to share it with our family and friends. This isn’t about receiving gifts, it’s about sharing our love for other and have all the people we love present. We made a small registry because we were told we needed to and we also mentioned in our registry where we want to take our honeymoon next year if anyone wanted to contribute. We are also open to donations made to St. Luke’s Lutheran Church since they have been so wonderful with helping us with our wedding. It is a wonderful church and we are more than happy to help St. Luke’s out. More importantly, we are happy to have you here celebrating our special day with us and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We love you all.
