Do I Need to RSVP?
Yes! Even if you think it's obvious to us that you'll be there, we need everyone to officially notify us of whether they're attending or not. There's an RSVP page here on the website. Or you can call or text us, at (412) 773-2489.
What Should I Wear?
Dress code is costume! There's no specific theme for it, but we request that no one wears anything that's majority white, or ballgowns -- basically, avoid looking like a bride. And just to reiterate, the ceremony and reception will both be outdoors, weather permitting, so please plan accordingly with your footwear and attire!
What About Kids?
Kids are welcome! Please just make sure that they're included in the number you provide to us with your RSVP, so we can get an accurate head count.
And we also request that if a kiddo starts to get fussy that you step away with them to avoid disruption of the ceremony. (Feel free to go to the house if needed!)
What's on the Menu?
It'll be a buffet-style meal from a barbecue vendor. The main dish options will be burgers, pulled pork, and chicken thighs, with a variety of side dishes and desserts. Please note that we're also just going to do open seating, so guests can sit wherever they like and move around as wanted!
Where Can I Stay Overnight?
We have more detailed information on this under the "Travel" section! But there's a hotel block reserved for the weekend at the Quality Inn & Suites in Titusville, about 15 minutes away from the wedding location. And from Saturday after the ceremony onward, you're also more than welcome to camp out on our property.
What About Transportation?
If you're flying in for the wedding, you'll likely be landing in Pittsburgh, so you'll need to rent a car to get up to our location. We're about 2 hours away from there. (Sorry, burdens of being in the middle of nowhere!) Rural location also means no rideshares (so no Uber or Lyft, etc.).
But we'll have parking available on the grass by our garages and in the driveways. Carpooling is encouraged.
Is Smoking Allowed?
No, sorry. Although it will be outdoors, this event will be non-smoking (of any kind). Thank you for your understanding!
Be Aware of the Pond
We have a large pond on the property, without any fencing to block children or others from going in. So please be careful near it!
FYI: Last Names
Just in case it's relevant to anyone, neither of us will be changing our last names. So we'll still be Todd A. Reynolds and Beverly J. Clark!
