It was the fall semester of 2016 at UCF when we met by both being apart of the unfortunate individuals who ended up in the 7am physics 2 lab. We were paired up as lab partners by our professor due to being the only individuals without partners. Ryan was doing really well in the course and I struggled a bit, which prompted him to offer his assistance to me outside of class. This eventually lead to countless study sessions, including the first one where I fell asleep mid session at his apartment. After all these study sessions, a friendship grew & Ryan eventually mustered the courage to ask me on a date. He really outdid himself by taking me to my favorite place in the whole wide world...Disney. I was so nervous awaiting for him to pick me up, having spent 2+ hours getting ready to make sure I looked perfect. Alas, we arrived at Disney and had the best time at Mickeys Very Merry Christmas party. After dropping me off home, I half expected a goodnight kiss but should’ve known that Ryan was far too shy for that. I never said anything to him and left it at that. Then finals were just around the corner and we spent countless hours studying for this physics final, our last final of the semester, which I was not looking forward to taking. Ry & I sat one seat away from one another during the final and of course he finished before me and left. I still took the whole test time to finish and walked in unsure of how it went.
