In January 2023, Adrian joined a church community group that Bianca had been attending for the past 2 months. Bianca noticed him immediately as someone who was a notch above the rest. Maybe it was his Romanian accent, the way he dressed so professionally, his biblical knowledge, his extensive vocabulary, his book bag and glasses, his giving heart... or that she could just tell he was her future husband? ;)


In February 2023, Bianca hosted a Superbowl party at her house. In true Adrian fashion, he was more than generous and skilled in the kitchen and brought all the fixings for a massive salad bar with every topping you could imagine.


In March 2023, they went ice skating as a church group and Adrian continued to show Bianca how he is always so prepared. He brought extra gloves that she forgot, held her hand so she wouldn't fall, and bought her skate rentals and a locker to put her belongings in. At the end of the day, he asked if he could treat her to dinner and they started to make plans to host a movie night for their group at Bianca's house the following week. Adrian made an entire crêpe creation with beef stew for our John Wick movie marathon. No one actually watched the movie and we all just spent quality time together watching Adrian's cooking skills.


In April 2023, Bianca and Adrian came together to host an Engagement Party for their church group leader's recent engagement. Bianca told Adrian she thought they would make a great “team” to host this party. This stood out to Adrian and suddenly he saw Bianca in a different light as he had always prayed for a team-mate in a partner. In the weeks leading up to the party, they spent a lot of time together shopping for food and decor. Adrian even threw in a few surprises for Bianca pretending to celebrate an early birthday since she would be gone in Alaska on her actual birthday. They went to a beautiful dinner at Arrowhead Grill and he bought her gift. It was the Perfect perfume by Marc Jacobs and he wrote a note saying, “To Me... you are Perfect!” Awww :)


A few days later, at the engagement party, Adrian shared his true feelings about Bianca being someone he could see a future with. Bianca had her blinders on, sharing she was so content in her single life not believing anything romantic was to come for her. She said she was happy to be his friend. Adrian left that night feeling like that was the end for them.


3 days later, Bianca had unexpected news of needing an eye surgery. The first person she thought to call was Adrian with his medical knowledge as a Nurse Practitioner and just the care he shows to those around him. Although it was a very tough situation to be in, Adrian showed up in all the ways you could imagine a faithful partner would. Bianca prayed for many days asking God to make it clear as day if this was meant to be for them. Adrian did the same.


On May 27, 2023, Adrian asked Bianca to be his girlfriend. They have been inseparable ever since. God made it clear they were each other's perfect match in all ways, and has proven to be that way over the past 6+ months. Having certainty in each other and in Him makes their story ahead so much more exciting.


On October 27, 2023, Adrian proposed to Bianca in Ohio with his brother and sister-in-law, and it was the most special day they will always remember! They thank God every day for putting them in each other's path in only the ways He knew how to. They can't wait to begin their lives together as husband and wife!
