Our story began like most modern love stories...on Hinge.

We began messaging and finally decided to schedule our first date. On September 2, 2023, we met at Mam’s Thai Cuisine. Unfortunately, they were closed for the Labor Day weekend, so we met face to face for the very time in their parking lot. David quickly decided that we should go to Kobe Steakhouse instead. We sat side by side as we ate our lunch and talked about our similar experiences.Like how we both hadn't been on a date in a few years and how our wonderful moms highly encouraged us to get on a dating app. (Thank goodness they did! 😉)We finished our date by getting gelato at D'lish.

On October 14, 2023, David and I travelled to Midland to see the annual solar eclipse and we “officially” began dating once we returned home. From then on, David continued working at JSI and I continued working at TTUHSC.  Recently, we have been in a “long distance relationship” since Bianca moved to Fort Worth. We hope to start living in the same city again soon! 😜

During our relationship, we've been on many adventures together. We've been to lots of Texas Tech football and basketball games together. We travelled to Dallas to watch the total solar eclipse in April 2024. We travelled to New York City in September 2024. We visited Waco in April 2025 with our dog, Violet. Plenty of trips to Houston and Fort Worth in between. However, living the mundane and doing our everyday routines together has been the greatest adventure of all.

On January 5, 2025, David proposed. And now, we are in the midst of planning our November wedding!

We hope this gave a little glimpse of our story so far.And, we really hope that we can celebrate our relationship with you at our wedding soon!Our story is just getting started. 💗
