Bj and Makayla’s story began in 8th grade pottery class when the friendship started, thanks to the seating chart.

Freshman year of high school, the friendship evolved into the infamous talking stage. This only lasted a few months, and ended with one of them ghosting the other person (they cant remember who ghosted who - but that clearly doesn’t matter anymore).

Junior Year of high school, they happened to attend the same New Year’s party. Bj ended the awkward silence and broke the years-long no contact hiatus. From that night on, he was determined to date Makayla. They started officially dating on May 5th, 2016.

Bj and Makayla have been together through many major life milestones. They share the memories of high school dances, college life, both high school and college graduations, beginning their careers, buying a house, and creating a family with two dogs.

Very few people are fortunate enough to grow up and experience life with their high school sweetheart and best friend all in one. Both Bj and Makayla continue to grow their love and appreciate every second of their journey.

You’ve undoubtedly made an impact on us as an individual or as a couple, and we are so thankful for the love and support you show us.
