Blair's POV:

It wasn't love at first site, more like irritation.

Three and a half years ago (November 2017) I was living in Birmingham and working at Faunsdale Bar & Grill in Faunsdale, AL on the weekends. It had been a long day and I had just finished all of the closing duties and was having a nightcap conversation with my boss. All of a sudden a group of men, obviously enjoying their night, come barreling in the door.

Eric Parrish, his brothers and their friends were that rowdy crowd, down for the weekend since it was hunting season. Eric and I got to talking and discovered that we both frequented a local hangout in Birmingham and decided that we would meet there for drinks some time. We met up with each other the next week and then again the following day and the day after that and the, well you get it. I couldn't explain it to people, (still can't) being with Eric was different, different than anything I'd ever felt before. A connection unlike any other. We'd spend all night talking and laughing, in our own little world. We still do.

Eric and I found out in January that I was expecting. Little did we know, it's twins!! We are absolutely over the moon!

I'm the luckiest girl in the entire world. I'm with my person, my soulmate, the man that I am going to spend the rest of my life with. I can't wait to see what our future holds.

Eric's POV:

I was at place in my life in the fall of 2017 where I thought some solo time was the missing ingredient to happiness for me. Little did I know I was soon to meet someone who would change that idea, and my life, from then on!

Blair Buck and I met in November of ‘17 and started hanging out as friends. These meetings would typically turn into deep conversations about all the similarities of our childhoods and families that would last for hours. I knew in the first few months of our meeting that I had met someone with whom I connected with like no other person I’d ever met before. I knew I was in love with her and wanted to be with her all the time and did just that! If I wasn’t at work, I was with Blair and it has truly been that way to this day.

In March of 2020 I asked for Blair’s hand in marriage and she said yes! For the next ten months I thought I was as happy as a person could be. That was until Blair gave me the greatest birthday gift I’ve ever received in my life, the news that we were going to have a child together! I was ecstatic! A few short weeks after this news I went with Blair to her first doctor’s appointment where we would find out that not only was she officially pregnant but we were to be the parents of TWINS!!

This progression of good news and improving our life together has been the trend since the day we met. I am truly excited beyond belief to share my life with her and our children and hope you all are able to come celebrate all of this with us this spring as we unite ourselves in marriage!!
