Blair and Tug met their freshman year at Carroll College. After waiting four months, Tug finally asked Blair to be his girlfriend on Valentine's Day... (very original, we know).

Between classes, practices, ROTC labs, and studying, they would spend every spare moment together. Blair and Tug spent nearly every night of college either hanging out with one another, or with their crazy, amazing friend group that formed by combining cohorts.

When senior year rolled around, Tug starting talking about an engagement being in the near future. Blair sternly declared that she would not get engaged until she had graduated from college. Tug was frustrated, but he obliged. In fact, he waited a little too long to propose and roles quickly reversed after graduation. Blair began asking Tug on a weekly basis when he was going to propose, and he seemed to be in no hurry.

Then, to Blair's complete and utter surprise, Tug proposed on November 4th, 2023 in the backyard of the Air bnb his family rented out for the Carroll football game that weekend. (And, as proof of her shock, Blair peeled off her perfectly painted manicure during the nerve-racking game earlier in the day). Every neighbor within a 100-yard radius could likely hear her shouting "OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD!" when Tug dropped to one knee.

Now, they are looking forward to the big day in December and can't wait to celebrate with you all!
