Our Wedding

We met when Matthew greeted me at the door on the first day of my new job. We sat next to each other at our desks and, after some time, I turned to Matthew and said "Matthew, I have no idea what I am doing." Matthew looked over at me, "With the work?" he said. "In life" I responded. "Oh. Uh, I don't think I can help you with that..." He said.We both laughed awkwardly and went back to work. That is our origin story and one of my favorite moments of all time because, it turns out that Matthew ended up helping me with life more than either of us ever could have ever imagined. He insists I've helped him with life too. :') I guess I'll believe that since I taught him how to rollerblade! Haha Now I sit here, years after that moment, and reflect on really all that has changed for us. We have been on so many extraordinary adventures together and, even in our ordinary lives, our time is spent surrounded by friends and family, eating delicious food, building our home with our animals and loving each other unwaveringly. Everyday, I am so grateful for every small happenstance that unfolded in divine order and led our paths to cross. Cheers to a lifetime of joy and love, together.

Lily and Blaise met in sophomore year of high school when they were both placed in the same math class as new kids late in the semester. Lily and Blaise bonded over family sized rolls of chocolate chip cookie dough, long late night talks in the car in front of Lily's house, and having the same sense of humor. If you want to strike up a conversation with Lily, you can start with turtles (or reptiles or amphibians of any kind) or rap music.

Will and Matthew have been best friends since they met playing middle school soccer together. Will and Matthew first bonded over watching Tennessee football, playing FIFA, watching CR7 play, & overly competitive soccer 1v1s in Will's front yard. If you want to strike up a conversation with Will Ronaldo vs Messi is your best place to start. (Pick your side wisely)

Laura is Blaise's new sister-in-law and friend and the two met when Matthew first introduced Blaise at a birthday party! Laura and Blaise bonded over beer festivals, dancing their butts off at dueling pianos, girls time, and holidays hanging with the fam. If you want to strike up a conversation with Laura, start with Grey's Anatomy, craft beer, or traveling.

Christian and Matthew first met playing middle school football together. They bonded over their love of the outdoors and have since successfully survived many hiking, fishing, and camping adventures together. If you want to strike up a conversation with Christian you can start anywhere, as he is basically a walking encyclopedia.

Blaise and Kai met when they were teeny tiny potatoes and bonded over getting into mischief together, playing wilderness survival in the woods behind their houses, climbing trees, and hanging out in Kai's basement. If you want to strike up a conversation with Kai, start with phenomenal movies, gourmet food, and a great sense of humor.

Kaleb and Matthew first met playing tennis together in high school. They bonded over arguing about college football, their similar music taste, and video games. If you want to strike up a conversation with Kaleb you can start with Alabama football, season 8 of Game of Thrones or Dua Lipa.

Kaitlyn and Blaise met through work and bonded over girls lunches, cheering each other on at the gym, restaurant lyfe, crackin' jokes, and talking about life. Jakob and Matthew first met at a summer tennis camp in middle school where it quickly became Matthew's dream to be as good as Jakob one day. They bonded over video games, movies, tennis, and now working side by side together.
