Like all great love stories, this one begins with, you guessed it… kickball. Yep, nothing says "meant to be" like sprinting for first base while trying not to get tagged out.

One of Hannah’s bridesmaids, Lynsey, roped her into an intramural game with their sorority sisters and some guys from Blake's fraternity. That’s when she met Blake. After the game, Hannah hoped to talk to him again soon. She added him on social media, fully expecting a flirty message to follow. But instead? Crickets.

Thankfully, God had a plan.

A few weeks later, Hannah's sorority and Blake’s fraternity were paired up for Greek Week, which meant—drumroll, please—they both ended up on the dance battle team. Nothing brings two people together like late-night rehearsals and some killer dance moves.

Hannah's sorority formal was coming up that weekend, and after being around each other that week, Blake was hoping that Hannah would find the courage to invite him. Instead, she took her best friend and Matron of Honor, Briley, as her date. When Blake found out she hadn’t brought a guy, he finally made his move. Blake messaged her saying he would come and be her date. Hannah thought he was joking—so she played along and told him to come (really hoping he was serious). The next thing she knew, there he was! They talked for what felt like hours getting to know each other.

The very next morning, they sat together at church, and from that moment on, they were inseparable.

By May, graduation was here, and despite college coming to a close, their story was just getting started. Both of their post-graduation plans were keeping them in Russellville, and it was clear they wanted to keep pursuing each other. Hannah, being the ultimate family girl, wasted no time—Blake met her entire family at her graduation party before they were even officially dating (talk about a trial by fire). A few days later, on May 12, 2023, they made it official.

From that moment on, life together has been one big adventure. Their love has only grown. They’ve planned their futures together, hit milestones, traveled within and out of the US, and watched their dogs become best friends (which, let’s be real, is a true measure of compatibility).

On January 12th, 2025, with snow covering the ground, Blake got down on one knee and asked Hannah to be his forever.

Their love story is filled with faith, friendship, and a whole lot of fun—always pushing each other to grow, to love the Lord and others better, and to cherish every single day. And now? They cannot wait to say I do!
