Blake and Erin’s story began during their first year at Citizens School of Nursing, where they saw each other for the first time and developed a mutual crush. Due to opposite class schedules, they missed the chance to connect and get to know each other.

In their final year, their classes merged, allowing them to officially meet and grow closer. Their contrasted personalities and similar interests created wonderful chemistry between them. From the start, they knew they were soulmates.

And six years later, their connection is stronger than ever.

On December 3, 2024, Blake proposed while they were searching for a Christmas tree. Excited to begin their life as husband and wife, they see their engagement as a testament to the love that began in nursing school and are grateful to God for bringing them together.

Blake and Erin welcomed Jax into their family in December 2022. He is an English black Labrador with the biggest heart in the world. At three months old, Blake and Erin introduced Jax to the wilderness, taking him on long walks near the river. They quickly discovered he was a natural-born swimmer and a fearless retriever.

Jax is Blake’s hunting buddy and joins him on duck and pheasant hunting trips. When he’s not out hunting, he loves cuddling with Erin on the couch and stealing her socks.

Now two years old, Jax is as energetic and loving as ever. Blake and Erin adore him and are incredibly grateful to have him in their lives.
