Justin and Blake met in the summer of 2020, June to be exact. The two hit if off at a mutual friends birthday party and never looked back.

In the years leading up to the engagement they were busy. Blake was finishing college, and Justin was working. They found enough time though to welcome their first dog, Nova, into their little family. Nova spent time in Ames with Blake living the college life and traveling back to see Justin. During Blake's last semester at Iowa State, they (Blake) decided that another dog would be a great idea! So the couple welcomed Nala into their family.

Once Blake finished college she moved in with Justin and started teaching. Life continued to be busy with the couple's many hobbies.

In September 2023, Justin and Blake found out they would be entering parenthood! The two were so excited, and it really must've sparked Justin into thinking.... "hmmm.. maybe we should get married". So, in December of 2024 at what Blake thought was going to be their gender reveal party.. Justin finally popped the question! Blake of course said yes. That night they also found out that baby Jass was going to be a GIRL!!

In May of 2024 their greatest blessing entered the world, Nya Lindsey Jass. They have been enjoying parenthood, and are now excited for their next journey as husband and wife.
