Blake and Maddie started their freshman year of college by moving onto the seventh floor of Gardner Hall at Appalachian State University. Maddie was more outgoing than Blake at the time and was quick to make friends with everyone as Blake was more reserved in his dorm room with his roommate. Other than their floor meetings Blake and Maddie had never spoken to each other until realizing they were taking the same chemistry class.

Blake and Maddie began to spend time together outside of class and studying and taking advantage of the activities Boone had to offer them with some amazing friends. Halfway through the month on November 16th, Blake and Maddie made it official and began dating.

Blake and Maddie return to App State for their Sophomore year of college where their bond for each other grew tremendously as Covid impacted their college year allowing them to spend every minute of the day together, since many of the activities in Boone were closed.

Blake visits Maddie’s grandparents, Papa and Yaya, for the first time in Groesbeck, TX. This is Blake’s first Summer Camp with Maddie, Caroline, Sam, and Audrey.

The month of celebration! Blake and Maddie start off their month of May by getting engaged on May 11th. WHEW! It was only the beginning though as the next day was college graduation day! What a few days that was!
