We recommend looking for a hotel as early as possible to lock in the best rates. We also have a room block available at the Best Western Plus Santa Barbara, a downtown hotel near the reception venue. Please refer to the travel tab for more information on the room block if you are interested.
Where should I park for the reception?
City Lot #9 is the closest paid parking garage to the reception venue. Additionally, El Paseo Restaurant has a paid valet parking lot immediately adjacent to the reception venue (https://elpaseovalet.com/public-parking/). There is also abundant free street parking in the downtown area.
Are gifts allowed at the reception?
Your presence is the best present! Plus, after 10 years together, we are fairly established and well stocked! If you feel inclined to give a gift, please consider contributing towards one of our cash funds, or you can find a few other gift ideas on our registry tab. We will also have a small gift table and card box available at the reception.
I am a guest, what should I wear?
We recommend semi-formal or dressy casual attire for our guests. August in Santa Barbara is generally warm, but we recommend bringing an extra layer for the evening reception.
Are children allowed to attend?
We adore all of the little ones, but the wedding will be for adults only. We are unable to accommodate any additional guests. Thank you for understanding!
