Hey everyone, first off, I would like to thank everyone for taking the time to look at the website or information.
For Blake's side of the family that I haven't met, my full name is Raegan Nicole VanCour, born in New York and raised as a Texan, which means I am very headstrong and persistent. I played softball at a Junior college in Texas, by the time of the wedding I will have my Bachelor's in Business Management. Currently, I am a Marine as an Aviation Electrical Technician residing on the coast of North Carolina.
For Raegan's side of the family that I haven't met, my full name is Blake Matthew Schneider, born in Missouri. I was in the Marine corps as an avionics tech, but unfortunately got discharged due to the COVID-19 Vaccine. Since then, I have been working as an avionics tech as a civilian and trying to go to school to get my bachelors in criminal justice.
Blake and I met in the Marine Corps as we worked in the same shop until he was discharged.
Blake will tell you that he “knew” I was the one when he saw me the first day I came to the fleet in Jacksonville. The first thing he said to me was asking me if I wanted to go fishing with him! Of course I said yes, but this is how he convinced me to give him my contact information.
He didn’t contact me until a month before he was to be discharged from the Marine Corps, he says he couldn’t let me slip from his grasp. We talked for a couple days, I couldn’t get this man to stop texting me, morning and night! The first place we went together was to a coffee shop called Port Java, which is now OUR coffee shop, and Church where he cried in front of me. Growing up, I never saw men cry, so I was definitely surprised and finally glad I found someone as in touch with their emotions as I am. Although, he has a much leveler head than I do to say the least.
The first movie we watched together, that day, was Shrek due to our inability to stop quoting the movie.
Now, for our first unofficial date.
Blake took me to this fancy seafood restaurant in Emerald Isle where he told me the buttery croissants were incredible and I just had to try them. Then for a beautiful walk on the beach at sunset.
Our first OFFICIAL date was at the aquarium, which is also where we took our first picture together (shown above). This is the day I also introduced Blake to calamari.
