The adventure of our wedding day begins with getting there! From either Mackinaw City or St. Ignace, you will take a ~20 minute ferry ride via Shepler's Ferry Service to arrive on Mackinac Island. From the Shepler's dock there is a horse carriage taxi available every hour, on the hour, to take guests to the Inn at Stonecliffe property. Private horse carriage taxis can also be arranged through third party companies.

If you are staying overnight at the Inn at Stonecliffe (along with the majority of the other lodging options on the island), your luggage will be taken before you get on the ferry and then transported directly to your lodging. No worries about hauling it from the boat to wherever you are staying! But please be sure to check with your accommodation directly to see how they handle their guests’ luggage.

When you arrive at the Shepler's ferry docks there are ticket booths with attendants. You will go to the ticket counter, share your name, and that you are getting ferry tickets under the Scott wedding. They will give you tickets for the members in your group and you can catch the next ferry!
