You returned to me like a boomerang.As you journeyed to the clouds, I clothed you in well wishes.We took the time to sort our own hearts,to heal and mend, creating mosaics within our temples. Together, we created life; the most beautiful act of us.He was always the catalyst for self-discovery,the bridge to knowing ourselves and one another.When we met, we ignited a flame; warm, passionate, alive. But as the flame grew, it began to consume.We succumbed to our addictions, to foolish anger, to escape.That’s when the boomerang took flight,when the flame dimmed, almost snuffed, yet never forgotten. In our separation, we faced the demons that drove us apart,and there, in the quiet of healing,we found each other again; bright, magnetic, whole.Healed, we stand, our flame rekindled,burning with a steady warmth, a light we now understand. A light we fully embrace. Now we see one another clearly,as we were always meant to be.The potential we once glimpsed is here,woven into the fabric of who we’ve become. Together, we thread the tapestry of our lives,a masterpiece to hang in the cathedral of our love.Our temple of mosaics,built on fate, on faith, on the fire that endured.
