It all began when a girl gave a guy a complement on how pretty his hair was….
The guy wasn’t in the best of places even though he acted like he was. There was a gapping hole in his heart. Not long after talking he begin to notice he wasn’t the only one that had been through something life changing. As much as we both tried to hide it there were always signs that both of us noticed but we just stayed truthful about how we both felt and kept things straight and honest. There were many sleepy morning because of our playful banter and first stage butterflies that seemed to always keep us up way past our bed time. After a short time something started to feel a little different. Being able for both of us to be as open and honest with all our feelings started to make each other feel like home. Those feelings were rays of light that burst through the darkness. We both knew it was the L word that both of them knew the other felt but dreaded to say. Finally one night the girl had enough and dropped that she LOVED him, of course Blake being Blake he knew that he could just say it right back so he waited. Sara began to have all kinds of thoughts running through her head but after he made her wait for around 4 hours he finally told her that he loved her. Not because he wanted her to stress but he wanted to let the timing be right and not just feel like he said it because she said it first. Few months passed and Blake asked Sara to Marry him. Since then we have combined her and her beautiful kids with my 2 pretty crazy puppies at “Blake’s House”(a running joke from Life360). Nowadays we just goof, tease and have a good argument here and there but still love and communication continue to grow everyday. We love our family and we hope we get to see each of you at our wedding to celebrate our love.
