The Vernon Wedding: Need-to-Know Travel Information
1. Jamaican C5 Form
Before checking in for your flight, you’ll need to complete the Jamaican C5 form. You can fill it out the morning of your flight, but we recommend doing it in advance to avoid delays. The website can be finicky, so it’s best to complete this sooner rather than later.
Access the form here: enterjamaica.gov.jm. Your airline may also provide information about this document online.
2. Communication – Download WhatsApp
We recommend downloading WhatsApp for communication in Jamaica, as it’s widely used locally. Julian and the hotel will be reachable on WhatsApp, and you can also use it to message, FaceTime, and call each other during your stay.
Once you download the app on your phone, click the link below to join the communication group I created for everyone to stay in touch while down there.

3. Airport Transportation
Transportation from the airport to the hotel is arranged with Julian, our driver, at $25 per person each way. Julian will be with us throughout the week, so you can coordinate your return trip to the airport directly with him based on your departure date.
Airport Pick-Up Instructions
After clearing immigration and collecting your baggage, head outside to the pick-up area and find Column C.
Use WhatsApp to notify the driver to meet you at Column C.
Driver Contact:
Regal Airport Transfer
+1 (876) 481-8713
Wi-Fi is available at the airport if needed to contact the driver.
Note: The drive can range between an hour and an hour and a half depending on traffic. There is only one road between Montego Bay and Negril.
4. Sunset Catamaran Cruise
Join us for the Sunset Catamaran Cruise on Friday from 2-7 pm! We’ve reserved a spot for everyone. Please let us know as soon as possible if you cannot attend. The cost is estimated at $80-$100, depending on the final headcount, and includes food and drinks. The cruise will depart from the beach, so it’s a great opportunity to visit Skylark (our sister hotel) for beach time before we set sail.
5. Reception Dress Code
The dress code is dressy casual. Keep in mind that we will be in the Caribbean, so wear what you will feel comfortable in. For the outdoor ceremony, we suggest the following: Women: sundresses, cocktail dresses, or lightweight separates. Men: light dress shirt with khaki or other lightweight slacks; jackets and ties optional.
6. Cash / Payment Methods
We recommend bringing some cash for things like Tips, paying Julian (driver). That being said the resort + 95% of places you'll go in Jamaica accept all major credit cards and there are ATMs in Jamaica that dispense US Cash and Jamaican Cash.
Scheduled Events
Thursday
4:30pm - 6pm = Welcome Party/Cocktail Hour
This would be a great night to grab dinner at the Rockhouse restaurant or venture offsite for dinner.
Friday
2pm - 7pm - Catamaran Sunset Cruise.
*Optional for those that want to get out on the water. Will be roughly $80-$100 per person, all inclusive food and drinks.
If you were hoping to get some Beach time, this would be the best day to do it. The Boat will pick everyone up from the beach, so get there early and get some beach time in before the boat. Skylark (sister hotel) is ~8min drive from the hotel and has beach access.
Saturday
4:30pm - Wedding Ceremony
5:00pm - Cocktail Hour followed by Reception
6:00pm - 11pm = Reception
Sunday
If you're staying Sunday, this would be an ideal day to hit the Spa or talk to Julian about doing an off site tour to see the waterfalls, hike, etc.
