Blaze and Milan met on April 16, 2022 and agreed to go on their first date before Milan had planned to make the move to Hawaii at the end of the month. They spent their first date at Warehouse 2565 sharing dinner and dancing to an (unexpected) live Country band. While in the bathroom, one woman asked Milan how long they had been together and after replying that it was their first date, she said "You guys are so cute together!" and "You seem like you've been together forever." The two weeks before the move, they went on many more dates and after a difficult goodbye, parted ways for the next year and a half.

When circumstances provided for Milan to fly home for an extended period of time, it was very clear that their feelings for each other hadn't changed and the two decided that it was time to make it official. Milan decided to move back in that same trip and flew home to Colorado for the last time in February of 2024.

The following year was filled with laughter and love. Days were filled with road trips, national parks, and golfing. And nights were spent stargazing, cooking and binge-ing The Rookie.

Blaze proposed on November 24, 2024 at Restoration Vineyards. Milan excitedly said YES.

Since the beginning, Blaze and Milan have enjoyed, and will continue to volunteer together at the Student Center at Fellowship Church. They plan to spend more time traveling together and enjoying outdoor hobbies together such as fishing, hiking and hunting. They will be joyfully joining Blaze's dog, Samantha, and Milan's cat, Cat, to bring together their happy little family.

They are so excited to be surrounded by family and friends on July 5, 2025 for the celebration of their union.
