Bo and Rachel first met in Grade 9 when they both started high school. With only about 30 students in their grade, you’d think everyone would know each other—but somehow, they never talked... at all.

Back then, they definitely didn’t imagine what they would become today. In fact, one of their only early interactions says a lot—Bo was making paper airplanes and throwing them at people, and Rachel wasn’t afraid to rat him out.

For years, they were just two people in the same small school who never really connected. It wasn’t until February 2023 that things finally changed. Out of nowhere, they started talking—and quickly realized there was something there that they had completely missed before.

From that point on, things moved pretty naturally (even if Bo took a little longer than Rachel would have liked to make it official).

On May 3rd, 2023, it finally became official. Bo asked Rachel to be his girlfriend during a date night at Smitty’s—where Rachel was working at the time. It was simple, a little overdue, and completely them.

It’s still kind of crazy to think that in such a small school, they went years without talking—only to find each other when the timing was finally right.

Bo and Rachel went to their Grade 12 graduation together in June 2023, not long after they started dating, marking one of their first big milestones together.

In September 2023, Rachel began University, while Bo followed his passion for cars by starting work at a car dealership—something that quickly turned into a career.

About a year into their relationship, Bo asked Rachel when she thought the “right time” to get engaged would be. Being the logical, life-planning person she is, Rachel said they should wait until they had been together for at least two years.

So, of course, Bo listened.

On May 3rd, 2025—exactly two years after they started dating—Bo proposed.

From then till now Rachel and Bo have continued to build their relationship, supporting each other in their endeavors and looking and planning their future together, which brings them to now!

With the wedding just around the corner lots of planning has happened for them, both for this upcoming wedding and for their future together.
