It's amazing how God works. With Him all things can become new. Two people meeting at a point in time, just the right time. And BAM! attraction, electricity, sparks, LOVE... Who would have though it could be possible at this stage of our lives. But with prayers and hope, a new thing begins.

Thanks to the Upward Christian dating app we connected. After months of cautious conversations, we met at Journey Church and attended a service, then to Cracker Barrel for breakfast. More dates followed, Christian concerts, watching The Chosen episodes together, dinners, the State Fair, attending church together, meeting family and friends, the trip to Florida and weddings! Meeting Linda and Merry was the highlight!

As time has passed, we became convinced that we wanted to spend the rest of lives together. On New Years Day 2024, Bob proposed! What a great way to start the year. My dear friends Katie and Mary were so happy for us that they threw an engagement party at the Smithfield House. They went ALL OUT and we had a blast celebrating our joy with friends and family. What a huge blessing for friends like these!!

We have many common interests and enjoy doing lots of things together, even the tough things. Like raking tons of leaves and loading them into a trailer. We like to work hard, have a great meal, and relax! Bob is a patient and kind man. A good man, as his associates, friends and family have confirmed. I just know that I've met the love of my life.

God delights to give good gifts to his children. And we both feel as if we hit the jack pot! We don't know what the future will bring, but we know that God will be there with us. So we'll keep our eyes on Jesus, look for what he wants us to do for him, and enjoy the ride!
