March 6, 2022 Micah and Bobbi meet for the first time at a skate meetup in San Diego that Micah was putting on

How we met

July 2023Bobbi moves down to San Diego and Micah and her move in together. They adopt two little kittens (Otto and Baker) in addition to their pup Remy.

2023

April 6, 2024 Last year, bobbi and I had a really special moment at an overlook in the rainforest of Costa Rica. We spent a day listening to music, taking film photos, hanging out in nature, doing water color painting on each other, and watching the most INSANE sunset. While doing water color, i coincidentally traced a vein all the way down her arm to her left ring finger. We both giggled at the happy accident. I proceeded to write “Who needs a ring?” in watercolor paint on her arm. I felt a certainty about spending forever together that didn’t need anything to make it as real as it felt to both of us so evidently in that moment. fast forward a year later, i brought her back to that same overlook to watch another sunset. We brought out the watercolor paints once again, this time for me to write on her arm “this time i have a ring.” I asked her if she would be willing to continue to watch the sunset with me til the end of our days.

Micah Proposed

September 13, 2024 In September I took Micah to Joshua Tree, the spot where I first told her I loved her exactly two years prior. It felt like the perfect place to propose back—how cool is it that we get to do that in a wlw relationship? This place holds so many of our favorite memories, and next year, it’ll be where we have our love ceremony. I told her it was just a casual photoshoot with&nbsp;@anna_captured, and, needless to say, she was *shocked*. But the real surprise? A bunch of her closest friends flew in from out of state to celebrate with us that evening.

We recommend booking nearby Airbnbs or vacation rentals in the Twentynine Palms area. (use address of venue above to check how close you can get to the venue) There are hotels in the 29 Palms/Joshua Tree area as well, but there are many more vacation home/airbnb accommodations near the venue will ensure your convenience and comfort. We encourage you to find lodging with other guests if finding something becomes an issue.

Desert Conditions:Prepare for Desert Conditions: The venue is remote, surrounded by breathtaking desert landscapes. Days can be warm, evenings cool, and gusty winds are possible. Dress appropriately and consider layers. PLEASE BRING JACKETS FOR THE EVENING, the temperatures drop after sundown.Wildlife Awareness: You may encounter desert wildlife like jackrabbits and lizards.
