It all started at The University of Georgia, a place where God had a hand in bringing us together. We first met through a shared love for faith, community, and, of course, a college football tradition—Frat Beach (Georgia Bulldogs vs Florida Gators).


Once we went our separate ways on the beach, Payton took the leap and sent Bobby a dm on Instagram. It was simple—a direct message that started with a Hey, dont think this is weird but can I ask you for your number. Paytons intentions were solely friendly and just wanted a friend (or so she thought). From there, the conversation flowed effortlessly. What began as an innocent “hey, let’s talk more” soon turned into something much more meaningful. We found ourselves talking every day, about everything and anything—our hopes, dreams, Chicago Bears vs. Atlanta Falcons, life at UGA, our shared faith and, of course, all the things that brought us joy and made us laugh.


What we didn’t know at the time was that those late-night conversations and spontaneous text exchanges were the beginning of something much bigger. Every conversation deepened our connection, and as time went on, we both realized that we weren’t just becoming great friends (as most of you saw coming:) )—we were building something that was everlasting, something special.


As we grew closer, we talked about our faith, our values, our future dreams, and the kind of love we wanted to build. We realized that not only did we bring out the best in each other, but we also made each other feel at home, whether we were spending Sundays watching football or reading our bibles on a balcony.


From Frat Beach to every day since, our journey together has been filled with adventure, laughter, deep conversations, and more love than we ever thought possible. And now, here we are, so incredibly grateful for that first message, the chance meeting, and every little moment that led us to this point.


What began as a long-distance relationship turned into something even bigger. Now having Bobby in Charlotte, we took the leap and bought our first home together! Now, we’re excited to be first-time homeowners as we say I do.


We’re so excited to step into this new chapter of life together, as we continue to grow in love, faith, and adventure. Thank you for being a part of our story and sharing in this special time with us. We can’t wait to see where this journey takes us next.
