A young woman decided to take a chance, leaving behind the part of the world she knew, to try to pursue a dream. She suddenly found herself 2,000 miles away in Los Angeles, California. She loved to make people laugh, and with that dream, she enrolled in improv classes. A young man grew up wanting to be an actor and performer. Early on, the grim realities of Hollywood pushed that dream away. However, during the stress of graduate school, he thought… I need to do something fun, something to make me smile. He loved performing. And with that, he enrolled in improv classes. Though these two never took a class together, glances in the hallways became smiles, which became follows on social media and the occasional emoji or two on a story. As the world locked down, isolation became the norm. Thanks to isolation, those emojis on a story turned into a sentence, a paragraph, and eventually a conversation that never stopped. Words on the screen became words over the phone which became a lonnng drive from LAX to the San Fernando Valley. She drove to “meet” this boy, but in many ways, it was someone she had already always known. As she drove, he made chicken pad Thai, knowing it would be a comfort for her since seeing anyone new after isolation would be scary.&nbsp;She knocked, and there before her stood a man wearing… banana swim trunks? Maybe quarantine had hurt both of their social skills.&nbsp; They talked. They sat. They watched the sexiest show on television-- The Great British Bake Off! After a few hours, she left for home, hungry as she was, too nervous to eat the food he had prepared for her. But she was changed. As she left, he wondered if he had done anything wrong, as she didn’t want any of the food, but at least he thought… I have food for the next few days.&nbsp;But he was changed. They could feel it in the silence. They were in love.&nbsp; And soon she began to know that long drive all too well, as he started the process of buying a condo, not realizing he was buying their future home. One day, he asked her to stop making that long drive and to live with him instead. Slowly, but suddenly, they found themselves the parents of four pets, building a whole-ass life together.&nbsp; By chance, these two, across the vast expanse of the universe and time, had their paths cross, and the fabric of their worlds changed forever. And so they said, “yes, and” to each other. Please join them as we say, “yes, and” to their future.&nbsp;

Thank you so much for joining us! For those flying, the closest airport is the Palm Springs Airport, which is about an hour drive from the Airport to the wedding Venue. For more flexibility with flight times and options, LAX is always an option. Please note the drive from LAX to the venue is 3 hours. There are many great hotels nearby.
