Though they officially rekindled their friendship in the midst of COVID while attending college, they have run in the same circles their entire lives. Both growing up in Fountain Inn, SC and attending the same elementary and high school, they were bound to cross paths eventually.

Alec attended Limestone University and was completing his Bachelors in Graphic Design, and Bonner was at USC completing her Bachelors in Public Health. During the pandemic, social media helped spark their relationship, and driving back and forth between Gaffney and Columbia was how their love story began.

After Alec graduated and started his career, he made the move to Columbia and awaited Bonner's graduation. Once she completed her undergraduate studies, they moved to Lexington, SC, where she is now completing her Masters in Nursing.
