Downtown Asheville is about a 20-25 minute drive to Montreat/Black Mountain area. You can find a list of hotels on our travel & hotel tab, otherwise there are great Airbnb options all around!

The ceremony will be held at Graham Chapel in Montreat. The reception will be held at Lake Eden Retreat under a tent. The weather is somewhat unpredictable till closer, so make sure to keep an eye out the day of the wedding.

For a black-tie optional event, we encourage you to dress in elegant, formal attire while still having some flexibility. Men may choose to wear a tuxedo, but a dark suit with a tie is perfectly appropriate. Women may opt for a long evening gown, though a sophisticated cocktail or midi dress is equally fitting. The overall look should feel polished, festive, and stylish! We recommend block heels for the ladies since the reception is mainly on grass.
