Ford and Nina met on February 3rd, 2017 at the Mizzou Arena at a Florida Georgia Line concert. They hit it off and exchanged contact info and kept in touch since first meeting. In 2018, Ford asked Nina to go to the Orange Bowl in Miami with him to watch Alabama smack the Sooners. Exactly two years after first meeting at the concert, Ford asked Nina to be his girlfriend. After Ford finished medical school, they moved to Omaha for residency, bought a house and a dog together. Ford asked Nina to marry him on July 30, 2022 in Chicago. She said "Yes!" and the rest is history.
