Brad and Andrea went to school together from first grade on. It was Mrs. Wells' fourth grade class where their story began. Brad was chasing all the girls at recess, while Andrea wrote about him in her diary. Flash forward to senior year, when their relationship really took off.

They would meet up at the football games and Brad made sure to save Andrea a seat. Their first date consisted of walking to the concession stand where Brad bought Andrea peanut butter M&M's. Brad worked up enough courage to make things official on October 27th, 2012.

The fairytale continued throughout college. Brad attended Iowa State, while Andrea attended UNI. Brad would pile up all of his buddies in his car and they would visit Andrea and all of her friends. Through all the road trips, goodbyes, and late night FaceTimes, the distance made their love stronger than ever. They both graduated spring 2016 and would no longer be hours apart. Brad and Andrea both got jobs in the Des Moines area and were back to hanging out everyday!

The next step was an obvious one. Brad met up with Andrea's younger sister, Nicole, to discuss his plans to propose to Andrea. Nicole's job was to ask Andrea and Brad to go ice skating Friday night. Brad had a particular spot picked out downtown that was perfect. After ice skating, they took a detour and drove past the spot. Nicole, being in on everything, asked to get out and take a picture. They pulled the car over, got out, and the plan was in full swing. Everything came together perfect, and Brad proposed to Andrea on December 16th, 2016!
