The summer of 2022 was a time of record-breaking heat and a bustling city atmosphere that had been on pause for a while.

Bryana, a seasoned dating app user, was mindlessly swiping through the night's prospects on Bumble when she came across Brad, 34. Intrigued by the witty profile and the new face, she swiped right. Brad on the other hand does not quite recall Bryana’s profile.

Needless to say, they matched, and Brad, bypassing typical small talk, asked Bryana out. His directness and confidence impressed her, and they planned a date for Friday.

Bryana’s excitement was slightly diminished when she received a green-text message confirmation from Brad, revealing that he was in fact an Android user. However, her open-mindedness prevailed, and she decided to overlook this minor imperfection and focus on the date ahead.

Prepared for the worst case scenario after countless failed first dates, Bryana arrived early and chose a bar seat with a view of the entrance. However, the concerns vanished once Brad arrived and introduced himself.

The first date went so well, they met less than 24 hours later in Central Park. It was during that walk in the 98 degree heat that they both realized this was something very different than they had ever experienced before…

Since that day in the park (the Big One), Bry and Brad have been inseparable. Brad passed the first test of meeting Bry’s twin sister Alexa and they discovered they are perfect travel companions during Bry’s work trip to Barcelona. They even survived 4 months living together in Bry’s 425-square-foot studio in Gramercy before finally finding their adult apartment together on the Upper West Side. It has been a constant adventure since the Summer of ‘22, with all the ups and downs life has to offer, and they would not have it any other way. Bry and Brad always refer to their love as “forever” and can’t wait for October 18th to make it official.
