The shuttle will be leaving Double Tree at 5:15PM.
Whether or not you are taking the shuttle, make sure to account for traffic! Double Tree is 19 miles from Highgrove Estate, and approximately a 30 minute drive, however, there will be rush hour traffic and traffic due to the balloon festival.
The shuttle will be leaving Highgrove Estate between 10:30PM and 11:00PM, depending on the time of the bride and groom sendoff.
Unfortunately there is a balloon festival in Fuquay Varina the weekend of the wedding and the nearest hotels are completely booked. We have blocked rooms at the Double Tree by Hilton in Raleigh, North Carolina.
The rooms are available 5/26-5/28 for one or two nights.The rooms are at a $120/night (a $30 discount) and will be available to reserve until 5/5/2016, after that the rooms will go back to general availability.
The rooms are blocked under the name Nifong/Melton Wedding, Group Code: 605.
How to get the blocked room discount:
To get the discount, go to the website and select your specific dates and information. Then, underneath the options, click on "Add special rates and codes" in blue. Then, in the "Group Code" box, type 605. Once you do that, click "Check Rooms & Rates" , and you will see the available blocked rooms!
