Will there be an open bar or a cash bar?
There will be an open bar for the cocktail hour and reception! Please have fun and drink responsibly, and plan for transportation after the reception. Last Call will be at 9:30pm.
What does "Cocktail Attire" mean?
Cocktail attire means please get dressed up with us!
For women, dresses of all lengths, blouses and trousers, and pantsuits are all great options.
For men, button ups with slacks, suits, or trousers and sport coats would all fit in cocktail attire.
If you would wear it to Christmas services at church, it will probably be perfect. Please no jeans, shorts, or tshirts.
Can I bring a plus one? What about my kids?
While we wish we could have everyone we know with us, we have opted for a small, intimate celebration. Invitations will be addressed with the name of each individual who is on our planned guest list. This will be an adults-only event, so while we love the littles, we invite the parents to enjoy a kid-free evening.
What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
Guests should plan to arrive around 4:30 PM. The ceremony begins at 5:00 PM. Guests who arrive after 5:00 PM will be banished to the parking lot until cocktail hour!
Accessibility?
There is parking directly outside the venue. From the parking lot, guests will walk down a few stairs to get to the ceremony space. For guests unable to use stairs, there is also a ramp that venue staff would be happy to help you find. Seating is primarily bench style (no back), but we promise to keep the ceremony short.
Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
We have hired professional photographers and ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony!
What should I bring with me to the venue?
1. Smiles and excitement!
2. A handbag or purse to hold your tissues.
3. Perhaps some spending money for the Ring Bearer and Flower Girl Raffles!
How do I RSVP?
Please visit the "RSVP" tab of the website. There, you will type in your name, and it will populate all members on the guest list associated with your household/party. You can RSVP for all of the members, so you do not all need to do it individually.
Please RSVP by July 1st.
What will the weather be like?
While we cannot fully predict the weather, we anticipate that it will be warm during the day (75-85 degrees) and will dip into the low 70s in the evening. We imagine that during the ceremony, it will be in the mid-to-high 70s. There will be fans available on your way in to help keep you cool.
Cocktail hour will be on the shaded patio, and we imagine the weather will begin to cool off during that time. The reception will be indoors, where we will enjoy air conditioning to keep us comfortable!
