Travel

-Passport check: make sure it doesn't expire 6 months prior to travel (should be within 6 months of expected RETURN)

-Credit Cards: Notify credit card companies of international travel. Some companies will lock your card if you do not inform them of travel ahead of time.

-Apps: Consider downloading Google Translate. This is a great app for scanning words and converting them to English.

What's App

Consider downloading What's App if you are not paying extra for your phone to work in Spain. What's App should work any where with WiFi.

Contact your cell phone company to explore options for cell phone service in Spain. This is usually an additional fee.
