John Amore holds a special place in the groom's life that's hard to fully put into words. He was my brother's lifelong best friend, more like another brother than anything else, and became family to all of us. Losing my brother left a space that can never truly be filled, but choosing Amore as my honorary Best Man felt like the most natural way to honor him.

Amore represents so much of what my brother meant to me: loyalty, laughter, and a bond that stood the test of time. Through him, I still feel a connection, those stories, and that brotherhood. But Amore isn't just a link to my past, he's been a steady presence in my own life too, someone I've looked up to, leaned on, and shared a lot of great moments with.

Having John stand beside me on this day means more than just friendship; it's about honoring where I come from, the people who shaped me, and making sure my brother is represented in spirit.

Honorary Best Man

Todd and Hayden first met back when they were young teenagers in Boy Scouts, and it didn't take long for them to become thick as thieves and more like brothers than friends. They've been through almost all of what life can throw at a person together. If you've spent enough time around Hayden, you'll know that he's a huge Indianapolis Colts fan. Well, you can thank Todd and his late father for that.

Semi-formal (think polished yet comfortable): For our October wedding please wear dressy attire without needing full black tie. Suggested options include cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or a skirt/blouse for women; dress slacks or chinos with a button-down shirt, blazer, or sport coat for men: ties are optional. Dress shoes or nice flats are perfect. Layers are recommended—the evenings can cool down in late October. Please avoid overly casual items like sneakers, T-shirts, or athletic wear. We can’t wait to see you looking your best as we celebrate! Below are some color palates that can help guide you when choosing your attire. It's not required, but optional if you desire to coordinate with the theme of our wedding.

Make a Weekend of It!

We've, or at least Hayden has, always felt like Nashville was one of those places where people say "I've always wanted to check it out!" but never get around to it. Well, now's your chance! There's so many things to do and fun to be had for all ages. Below is just a short list, but the possibilities are endless within an hour or two!

This address will take you to the beginning of the infamous Broadway. People do perform here, and there's quite a few of them, but don't mistake it for NYC. Here you will find the popular honkytonks and multi-story bars where live music is played on every floor! A few even have rooftop sections overlooking Broadway. A fun game to play is to count the white cowboy boots and how many times you hear "WOOO!" Most places are open from 11 am - 3 am. The groom recommends going midday to avoid the crows and lines.

Stand where your favorite musician has performed at the former site of the iconic Grand Ole Opry. You may even be able to catch a show here.

Have you ever wondered what Taylor Swift's handwriting looks like, or just how extravagant Elvis' Cadillac was? Well now you can! The Country Music Hall of Fame isn't just a walk through the history of country music, it's also an exhibit of iconic items like Johnny Cash's all black outfit, hand written lyrics from Grammy winning and nominated artists, and guitars played by your favorites.
