The bride and groom first crossed paths on a warm summer night in 2014 at a high school graduation party. Both were heading off to college that fall, and while they didn’t exchange numbers, followed each other on Instagram and went their separate ways. (Brandi likes to joke that Tyler kept tabs on her throughout the years, because he's in all her likes.) Five years later, over Labor Day weekend, the bride received a message from the groom asking if she was seeing anyone. One simple DM turned into plans for a first date, and from the moment they sat down together, it felt as if they had known each other forever. That night, the bride found old photos and videos tucked away on her laptop from the night they first met. It felt like fate, but the universe had even more surprises in store. They discovered their grandmothers were friends, and there were even childhood photos of the bride with the groom’s cousin. From New Jersey to New York and back again, to exploring new places and tons of "firsts" the bride and groom’s journey to marriage has been filled with laughter, growth, and love. Each step has felt like a little bit of magic, and they can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter with the people who mean the most.
