Emily and I became inseparable friends the summer before I started 7th grade (playing Halo on Xbox whenever her brother wouldnt kick us off, making Mac n Chz, listening to Usher, watching the movie Honey and memorizing the dance moves, and going to the pool).


Emily and I have experienced many phases of life together - middle school, high school (Emily was boy crazy ;)), college, our 20s, and now both in our 30s. Emily has the wisdom of being married for the last 7 years and is a mom to 3 beautiful kiddos. Our friendship has endured the span of time and I am so grateful for her!

Miranda and I became good friends my senior year of college when I joined her bible study. What bonded us together was our pursuit of Jesus although we had much in common (being in the same sorority and both in the Dental Hygiene program). It has been 11 years since then and we have remained good friends. Our friendship has included many vulnerable conversations and Miranda is the one who encouraged me to pursue becoming a Mental Health Counselor. Miranda has been married for 9 years, now with 2 kids, and a new puppy! She is a sweetheart and beautiful, inside and out.

Yvonne was one of my first friends I made when I moved to Minnesota. We met through a women's small group at church and then became good friends! Yvonne has always been so thoughtful, caring, and fun. We lived together for 2 years and during that time she met her husband and they now have a little girl, Valerie (who is content when Zack holds her and cries when I hold her). It must be the blonde hair and her realizing I am not her mom :)

Sarah and I's friendship has been such a surprise and Holy Spirit led. While living in Minnesota, I was looking for an athletic trainer and came across Sarah at Anytime Fitness. We quickly connected over conversations of faith and then actually got to hang out in real life after she quit at Anytime Fitness. Sarah and I lived together for 3 years and, during that time, Sarah returned to the Catholic Church (after many conversations and providential incidents - running into a priest at the Target Starbuck's). Sarah is a go-getter, passionate, and recently accepted a job with Pregnancy Choices to coach women who are considering an abortion.

Bekah and I met through a class in grad school (at Divine Mercy University). In that class, us students had to practicing counseling skills on each other. Bekah was my counselor and has such a gentleness to her with loads of empathy. Bekah became my go-to when going through dating challenges over the years and has heard it all. She continually held hope for me that I would one day meet my spouse so it is a joy to rejoice with her! Bekah lives in Pennsylania and has her own counseling clinic!

Reagan & Roman

-- I have been living with these little girls for the past 5 months and they are such a joy!

Kindra and I became friends while we were both trying to find a roommate. She is from Sioux Falls, SD and was thinking about moving to Minnesota. We didn't end up becoming roommates but good friends. It is Kindra's dream to do wedding coordinating so I am letting her live it out!

Mary and I became friends through an online, Catholic, small group about discerning vocation, while I was single, many years ago. We stayed friends afterward and have talked much about the difficulty with dating and health struggles. Mary lives in Grand Rapids, Michigan, so it is a blessing to have her be a part of the wedding day!
