Over the years Ryan and Brandi had crossed paths without actually meeting multiple times. Golf outings, parties with friends, and they also almost went on the same beach trip together. Once Brandi’s friends turned 21 they would go to the Paint Room on Thursday nights for wings and drinks. They had heard about each through their mutual friends and Brandi added Ryan on Snapchat. They talked for a little and finally met at the Paint Room one night where Ryan only bought Brandi a shot and didn’t say/do much more. They talked for a while and hung out with friends. They had their first kiss on January 27, 2019 and had their first date one January 29. After they continued to hang out and Ryan had asked Brandi to be his girlfriend multiple times and all she said was no. Finally she said yes to being his girlfriend on February 17, 2019 after seeing a movie at the Latrobe theater. In July of 2019 they took their first Vacation together to Mexico. They spent the holidays together that year and were inseparable. They had talked about moving out of Ryans parents house and possibly moving into their own home. In April of 2020 they were blessed with the opportunity to clean out and renovate Ryans great grandparents house. By the end of 2020 they had finished most of the house with the help of their family and friends and were able to move in on New Years Eve. They woke up on January 1, 2021 in their own home with their dog Nola. In April they had a house warming party celebrating their new house after they had finished their basement. In May of 2021 they got their second dog Jameson. Brandi and Ryan just enjoyed life from there on out while hanging out with family and friends. In March 2022 they ended up getting a third dog, Kaine. They went on many trips together including visiting Ryans dad in South Carolina, spending time in Myrtle Beach, and went to Yellowstone National Park with friends. In November of 2022 Ryan took Brandi engagement ring shopping. From there on out Brandi thought it could happen any day. In November of 2023 Ryan had picked up Brandis engagement and was planning propose during their Alaska trip. Finally their Alaska trip came and Brandi was hoping that they were going to get engaged. Ryan had planned to propose when they were in Sitka because Brandi loves the movie The Proposal. Ryan didn’t end up proposing in Sitka because the weather that day was terrible. That evening Brandi convinced herself that Ryan wasn’t going to propose in Alaska because she thought he would lose the ring. The next day they were in Skagway and it was a new day and Brandi was still hopeful it would happen. They spent the morning on a train ride through the mountains and explored town throughout the afternoon. They ended up going on a short hike to try to get a good picture and it didn’t happen there either. Finally at the end of the hike Brandi, Ryan, Carly and Eric (their friends) ended up getting a group picture. Carly had asked Brandi and Ryan if they had wanted another picture by themselves. After that picture Ryan had gotten down on one knee while Brandi wasn’t paying attention and when Brandi turned to look at him she was so shocked and couldn’t believe the love of her life was actually proposing. The rest has been history Brandi had started wedding planning and they can’t wait to get married and continue their beautiful life together.
