Our Story

Brandon and Eddie met the way many modern love stories begin — on an app — in September 2018. After dating for a bit (and briefly deciding we were definitely done), life had other plans. Four months later, on May 1, 2019, we found our way back to each other… and this time, we actually figured it out.

Our first date was drinks at a dive bar, which set the tone pretty perfectly. It was also the first time Brandon ever kissed a man in public — a bold move, considering he wasn’t even out yet. Turns out, Eddie has always had a talent for making big moments feel easy.

About a year in, things got serious — in the best way. In May 2020, Brandon came out to his family, knowing without a doubt that Eddie was his person. From there, it was less “dating” and more “building a life,” complete with trips to Mexico, exploring all over California, and assembling a small but mighty household.

That household includes Cali the dog (the real boss), Tank the tortoise (the quiet observer), and Marilyn the cat (dramatic, obviously). Somewhere between the road trips, the everyday routines, and the growing collection of shared memories, we became best friends and partners in every sense of the word.

In April 2022, after almost three years together, Brandon proposed in Monterey, California — and Eddie said yes without hesitation. Now we’re getting married, and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate with the people who have loved us through every chapter.
