Brandon and Alexis both left long term relationships shortly before they got together. They shared and grew in the heartache that is starting fresh after being with someone for seven years. With being so freshly out of long relationships they knew the baggage they didn't want to bring into a new relationship as well as things they didn't want to receive anymore. Knowing very strong early on these two things has help their relationship immensely.

Being together and working to be a better partner for one another and parents to Orion is going to be something they will always work on. With this vow of marriage they are committing to do just that.

They will be married in a small intimate ceremony with just close family and friends. Alexis's first wedding was very large so she is scaling things down this time to include just those family and friends who mean the most to her. Brandon has a small close knit family to begin with so he will be surrounded by them and his very dear friends who he considers family.
