Brandon and Bridget met in 2013 while in college at Western Oregon University. They met through mutual friends, thanks to Griffin Caster and Rachel Tomlinson (Maulding), and began spending more time together as the school year went on. Bridget considered Brandon a friend but Brandon quickly knew he wanted to pursue a relationship with Bridget. After spending more time together, Bridget warmed up to this idea and said yes to being Brandon's girlfriend in October 2013 after several failed attempts by Brandon. They dated throughout college and shared lots of memories including house parties (those memories are fuzzy), library dates, late nights at Koyote's, Brandon's lacrosse games, weekend trips to the beach and graduation in the spring of 2015.

After college, Brandon moved back home to Eugene, OR and Bridget moved to Salem, OR for work. They spent most weekends together and made the drive between Salem and Eugene countless times. Brandon moved to Mesa, AZ in 2017 to pursue a career in IT sales. Bridget followed Brandon to Arizona in 2018, which was not a hard sell if you know anything about Bridget (sun lover). The couple soaked up the sun until 2019 when Brandon got a job opportunity he couldn't pass up. They packed their apartment into a moving truck and headed north through the mountains to Denver, CO.

Brandon and Bridget bought their first home in 2020 after a year of living in (and falling in love with) Denver. Three days earlier, Brandon finally popped the question after seven years together. Brandon planned a weekend trip to Vail, CO for the couple's anniversary. Bridget had a feeling Brandon might propose but he didn't seem nervous, which threw Bridget off. Brandon got down on one knee while walking along the river in Vail. Through lots of tears Bridget said "yes" even though her nails weren't done and she didn't have any makeup on. They celebrated in Vail with dinner, champagne, lots of FaceTime calls to family and friends, and a whole lot more happy tears.

Our relationship has been packed with lots of ups and a few downs. We have lived in three different states and have traveled near and far together. We cannot wait to finally make our love official by getting married with our closest friends and family there to celebrate with us. Let's put our dancing shoes on and get ready to party!
