Brandon and Lexis met in November of 2018 when Brandon was hosting his second Friendsgiving. Morgan, the Maid of Honor, invited Lexis to join. Lexis attended the Friendsgiving in 2018 and then again the following year with Russell, the Best Man, and Mikayla, the Matron of Honor. It soon became a tradition for Lexis to attend Brandons Friendsgiving events year after year. Unbeknownst to Lexis, Brandon admired her over the years and convinced Russell and Mikayla to help acquire Lexis’ attention. Mikayla began inviting Lexis to dinner with herself, Russell, and Brandon every Friday night in an attempt for the two to get to know each other. It wasnt long before sparks began to fly and a mutual fondness began to take root. Brandon and Lexis began dating October 09, 2021 and hosted their first Friendsgiving together that November.

By June 2022, Lexis had officially moved in with Brandon. They began making minor improvements around the home that included new furniture and a fresh coat of paint; those who had seen Brandons choice of paint knew it was time for an update from sh*t brown. (Bahaha! Sorry Brandon, sometimes the truth hurts.) Once finished with their minor renovations, the couple began their search for their forever home in February of 2023. By March, Brandon and Lexis had found their soon-to-be new home, listed their home in Melrose, and accepted an offer within three days of listing. They set course to close on both homes by the end of April.

On April 1st of 2023, Brandon proposed to Lexis. (It was no April Fools joke.) Brandon and Lexis were up north at the cabin with their dog, Max. The three of them were on a stroll when Brandon popped the question in a beautiful wooded area. At first, Lexis was in shock by what was happening and thought Brandon was falling on the ice. All she could say was yes, continuously once Brandon asked the four magic words, will you marry me?

As of April 28th, Lexis and Brandon have closed on their forever home. They are busier than ever spending lots of time with their families and friends, settling into their new home, and preparing for their big day - a continuation of the happily ever after theyve found in each other!
