Our Story

The story begins at a mutual college friend’s birthday celebration. After seeing one another for the first time, It was love at first sight. Brandon and Lianna spent the remainder of the semester stealing moments to walk together, chat, or simply be near one another. Soon after the start of the following semester, they began their dating relationship. Brandon and Lianna had the unique privilege of being in the same friend group in college, and it was sweet to get to know each other in a group setting while also spending quality time together. They were also blessed to come from homes that were only about 3.5 hours apart, allowing them to spend time with family as a couple, sharing with each other one of the most important things in their lives. Over the years, they have enjoyed things like hiking, camping, traveling, skiing, and so much more. After 2.5 years of dating, Brandon asked Lianna to be his wife on January 2nd 2025. It was a surprise proposal that required many secrets and lots of planning on the part of the Ross family and Brandon, but it was all worth it to see the look of surprise and joy when he popped the question. Looking back, it is amazing to see the Lord's faithfulness in their relationship through every high and every low. They are so excited for this special day and to see where God leads them in the future!

Madeline and Lianna met freshman year of college and since have developed a sweet friendship. Madeline has been the bride's roommate and RA for two years now.  Through the ups and downs of college life Madeline has brought the bride so much joy, laughter, and fun. Madeline's sweet, kind, and energetic personality as well as her deep love for the Lord and others has been such a blessing to Lianna these past years of college. There is truly no one else she would rather have by her side on this special day.

Sarah has known the bride pretty much since she was born. Sarah and Lianna grew up as next door neighbors and church friends. Throughout the years Sarah and the bride have been able to maintain a sweet friendship where they are able to encourage one another and talk about the things of the Lord. Sarah has been such a consistent friend and has been a huge blessing to the bride.

Sarah R and the bride go back to high school days at South Merrimack Christian Academy. Sarah and Lianna started to really grow close once they discovered they both were going to Cedarville University. Sarah roomed with the bride freshman year and since then Sarah has been a steadfast friend. She is full of sarcasm, fun, artistic abilities, smarts, wit, and more. Sarah has been a joy to be friends with and Lianna is so thankful for her friendship.

Kate was one of Lianna's Discipleship Council Leaders. Kate has been a consistent and prayerful friend. She has been such an encouragement in Lianna's spiritual growth these past few years, and it has been a blessing to get to walk alongside Kate. Kate and Lianna have enjoyed many coffee/breakfast dates and walks talking about life, school, and the things of the Lord over the past few years.

Livia has been like a cousin/sister to the bride ever since she was born. Livia has felt like a family member to Lianna, and she cannot imagine life without her. From the time the bride and Livia were little and playing in the basement stealing toys from each other to now talking about God, relationships, and life Livia has been such a blessing and steadfast friend to the bride. Lianna has been blessed by Livia and the whole Wilder family.

Ellie has also been a cousin/little sister figure to the bride. It has been sweet for Lianna to watch Ellie grow up into the mature and Godly woman she is today. Lianna has loved getting to be Ellie's "fake cousin" and watch her grow up over the years. Lianna is so thankful for Ellie's thoughtful, caring, and fun personality. She loves animals and others so well.

Elizabeth and Lianna met prior to coming into Cedarville through a Cedarville facebook page. Elizabeth was the bride's roommate sophmore year of college, and they have been in Cedarville's nursing program together all four years. Elizabeth always keeps Lianna laughing, and  Elizabeth has been a constant help throughout the nursing program. Lianna is thankful for her friendship throughout the years.

Emma and the bride have been friends since freshman year  of college when they were placed in the same unit. Emma and Lianna both started in the nursing program, and ever since then a sweet friendship was kindled. Lianna has enjoyed getting to know Emma. It has been a joy to walk alongside Emma, have her in discipleship group, and to now talk about all the wedding things with her.

Jack is the groom's younger brother, and has been his best friend and biggest supporter from the day he could talk. They do everything from sports to chores together. Jacks charismatic and upbeat personality has been such a blessing to Brandon over the years, especially during the tougher moments. But even with his fun-loving nature, Jack is one of the best listeners when Brandon needs to get something off his chest. He never waivers in the love he shows him every day. There is no one else Brandon would rather have at his side for this special day.

Nathan has been a close friend of the groom's ever since they met through a program their dads organized called Raising a Modern-Day Knight. He is always eager to get to know and serve others at any moment, which has been such an encouragement and example to Brandon. Nathan has been a steadfast friend and role model to the groom through the years as they've grown in their faith together. Everyone needs a friend like Nathan in their lives.

Logan has been a close friend of the groom's ever since their parents met through their church community. Logan has been apart of Brandon's life for over 13 years, during which they have shared camping trips, holidays, Raising a Modern Day Knight events, and so much more along the way as they have grown up. Logan has shown Brandon what it means to be dedicated and disciplined, while also having a great sense of humor and love for life. Brandon is truly thankful for Logan’s friendship.

Owen was the groom's Discipleship Leader and Counselor during their time at Cedarville University, and has been a steadfast friend during that time. He has shown Brandon what it means to be intentional with those he cares about. He cares deeply about things of the Lord, but can also lighten the mood in any situation. Both Owen and his wife Ashley have both been an encouragement to Brandon and Lianna over the recent years.

Owen Burns

Stephen was the groom's roommate for all four years of college, and has been a close friend during that time, giving advice and support throughout their college days. He is one of the best storytellers of all time, and never misses out on a good prank. But when it comes down to it, he stands firmly by those he loves. Stephen and his wife Emma have been amazing friends to both Brandon and Lianna during their time at Cedarville.

John has been one of the groom's close friends ever since they met on day one of their time at Cedarville. In the same hall each year, they have shared time playing sports, watching football, and walking through the ups and downs of life in college. John is one of the most loyal and authentic people that Brandon has ever met. In the face of adversity, there aren’t many people Brandon would rather have around than John to go through it with. Brandon is truly thankful for their friendship.

John Graham

Gavin is the younger brother of the bride. His charismatic and fun personality has been a joy for the bride to watch develop over the years. He has a zest for life, sports, competition, and music. Lianna cannot wait to see how the Lord uses Gavin in the future, and she cannot imagine her life without Gavin. Gavin has demonstrated how to enjoy life and live life to the fullest for Jesus. Lianna is so thankful to have both of her brothers in the special day.

Brandon is the bride's youngest brother. Lianna has loved getting to watch Brandon grow up. Brandon has always had a sweet and caring spirit toward the bride and everyone he comes into contact with. He has been a been a blessing to the bride and has been there for her during some low moments over the years. Lianna cannot wait to see how the Lord uses Brandon Ross in future years to come, and she is so thankful to have him be apart of this wedding day.

Meleah and Greg have been kind, Godly, and sensitive parents to the bride all her life. They have supported her, cared for her, loved her when she was hard to love, and they have modeled a Godly marriage relationship for Lianna. Greg has shown Lianna how a Godly husband should lead and serve his family. Meleah has shown the bride what it means to self-sacrificially love others, and she has been the bride's best friend her whole life. Together these two have set forth a strong example of what loving Christ, loving others, and loving each other well looks like. Lianna could not be more thankful for Meleah and Greg, and she looks forward to what the coming days will hold for their relationship.

Chris and Vicki have been loving and nurturing parents to the groom his whole life. Chris has shown Brandon what it looks like to lead courageously and provide well. He has been a role model and friend to Brandon even when it wasn’t easy. Vicki has shown the groom how to love unconditionally and give people the best attitude possible. She has been Brandon’s biggest supporter over the years. Together they have demonstrated a Christ-like example of what it means to be devoted to God while also being devoted to each other. They have given their sons Brandon and Jack a strong foundation built on the Lord, which is the greatest gift of all.
