Life has a funny way of working out.. in the beginning of 2019 neither of us knew where we were headed in life. Brandon reached out, knowing Myka was facing a lot of the same life challenges that he was, along with raising two young smiling faces. Finally, after many attempts Myka agreed to giving a dinner date a shot. 
•First Date: Olive Garden (because one of us had a gift card… typical Brandon move😉)

Fun Fact: Brandon always had an interest in Myka as he tried to pursue her attention in high school, but he was “left on read” 👀 Timing is everything, we’re proof of that 😍 

The moment we started talking there was Instant chemistry, with good conversation, and lots of laughter. We started making dates a once a week thing while slowly introducing the kiddos. Although it was chaos and sometimes a lot of arguing we started having sleepovers & movie nights. Blending our two families; into one has had its rough spots..& I’m sure it will always have its days.. but our relationship is constantly growing; with eachother-with our kids-& our kids’ relationships are even growing and maturing. They’ve all built a “we’ve got each others back” bond.. with a side of “i can’t stand you” 🤪

Both of us starting with a “I’m never tying the knot” mindset.. left Myka absolutely speechless and in complete shock when Brandon proposed; surrounded by a couple good friends & Christmas lights (her fave🎄) Somehow he managed to keep it a secret and pull off that surprise 💍 

Some of our favorite things are: 
•traveling with and without our kids. We are working to get the kids to all 50 states-while taking more extravagant trips just the 2 of us. 
•Laughing: If you see us- 9 times out of 10; we’re laughing. 
•We love pushing each other to be better. To grow, learn, & create a big future for our little fam. While teaching them what healthy relationships and happy homes are made of 🖤
