Rowan and Brandon met in a club at Iowa State University where you design, build, and race an off-road vehicle. After a month of awkward interactions, they decided to hang out one afternoon. After that, it was clear that the two were compatible and it only made sense to go on a date.

Over time their relationship grew stronger. The two became very close and eventually inseparable. Three years into dating Brandon proposed after Rowan finally agreed to the hike (a month after the initial plan).

In between those times, Brandon and Rowan quarantined together for a month (3 months into dating), went to Yellowstone, the Smokey Mountains, Michigan, started to restore a truck, and had many laughs and fun times throughout.
