Brenda - Around the second week of junior year of high school, I finally sorted out my courses with the counselor. Off to Chemistry to meet Ms. Galindo and catch-up on the work I've missed. I have to share a desk with Brandon, curly hair and glasses. It's okay since he lets me control the whiteboard and markers and be the know-it-all. We both do the labs that we missed the first week of school while the others do something else.

He's alright.

Brandon - So I'm standing with my classmates and a few friends in Chemistry, waiting for Galindo to pick partners for some lab or other and I see Brenda across the room and I think to myself "There's something about this girl...can't really put my finger on it, but, is she Mexican? Asian? Either way, I dig her style" Thanks to the unimaginative Galindo, pairs get set by alphabetical order and luck would see that Ms. Mandel would be sittin' with this guy.

Just gotta play it smooth.
