It all began on the dance floor at Jina's sister’s wedding — with a jacket dance, of all things. Brandon almost didn’t come that night, but at the last minute, he decided to show up and celebrate the newlyweds. One glance toward the dance floor changed everything. He saw Jina dancing, asked her cousin who she was, and jumped right in. He did his famous jacket dance and Just like that, it was love at first dance. Later that night, Brandon went home, ordered Chinese food, and opened a fortune cookie. Inside, it read: “You just met an important person.” He smiled, not knowing just how true that fortune would turn out to be!

Football has always been more than just a game for Brandon and Jina — it’s a connection, a tradition, and a whole lot of fun. Jina surprised Brandon with tickets to a football game, a day she still remembers vividly. Brandon snapped a photo of the two of them and sent it to his cousins' group chat. One cousin jokingly replied, “When’s the wedding?” — a moment that felt funny at the time, but ended up being surprisingly on point. Whether they’re tailgating at the stadium, battling it out in fantasy leagues, or cheering (and sometimes yelling) at the TV on Sunday afternoons, football has become a joyful part of their relationship. It’s no surprise that it made its way into their wedding, too — from the spirit of friendly competition to the color theme. After all, it’s been part of their love story from the very beginning.

Brandon and Jina had shared countless memories together — from meeting each other’s families to celebrating special moments and gatherings filled with laughter and love. For their one-year anniversary, Brandon surprised Jina with a trip to the National Harbor, where they rode the Ferris wheel together, taking in the beautiful view and the moment. He also took her to her very first basketball and baseball games — experiences they both cherished. In return, Jina introduced him to his first wine festival and the thrill of an escape room. Over time, they taught each other little things too — Brandon showed Jina how to play blackjack, while Jina taught him how to win at Hand, their favorite card game. They enjoy experiencing new adventures together and theirs was just beginning.

Even as they mourned the loss of several beloved family members, Brandon and Jina leaned on each other and found strength in their shared love. Those difficult days served as a powerful reminder of how precious life truly is — that every moment is a gift to be cherished. Through grief, they grew even closer, learning to hold tighter to joy, to family, and to each other. On June 22nd, in the midst of a season marked by loss, Brandon and Jina took their first step toward forever. In a beautiful and heartfelt moment, Brandon asked for Jina’s hand in marriage — a memory they’ll both cherish for a lifetime. Though they deeply wished their departed loved ones could have been there to share in the joy, their spirits are carried with them, every step of the way.

Brandon had been eagerly anticipating this moment, knowing it would be one of the most important of his life. For six weeks, he meticulously planned every detail, determined to make sure everything was flawless. Little did he know that the weather had other plans. The weather couldn’t make up its mind, shifting from sun to storm, yet, despite the chaos, he trusted his heart and followed the plan he had always dreamed of. When the moment finally came, it was nothing short of perfect—a memory they will cherish forever. Jina said yes, and the excitement of starting their life together is something they both can't wait for. Now, it's time to share their joy and celebrate with everyone they love!
