Brandon and Hannah first met at the Young Adult ministry at Grace Church. While Hannah did not know Brandon at all. Earlier that day a fellow staff member mentioned Hannah to Brandon in hopes they would start dating. Since Brandon worked at the church, he was recruiting volunteers for the Father’s Day car show. Hannah was the only person that was interested in helping at the event. Brandon being the charming guy he is…initiated the conversation with Hannah and got her phone number “to contact Hannah about the event.” A week or so later they were able to serve with each other at the car show. They spent the whole event laughing with one another and getting to know each other as they were serving food. At the end of the event, Brandon was bold enough to ask Hannah on a date for the next day. He mentioned getting ice cream and Hannah was more than excited.

Hannah was nervous for the date but got ready with a huge smile on her face. Brandon was a gentleman and planned out the whole date. From lunch to ham-mocking, it was a special day. It turned out to be a little longer than expected… 7+ hours haha. I guess you could say it went well. After ham-mocking, Brandon was hungry. Go figure. Brandon nervously ate too many nuggets, so they never ended up going to get ice cream. Was that the plan all along? That part remains a mystery. This gave Brandon an easy way to ask Hannah on a second date. Of course she said yes, I mean who could say no to ice cream?

Brandon and Hannah fell more in love as time went on. After only knowing each other for a few months, Brandon wanted to make things official and asked Hannah to be his girlfriend on July 13th, 2022 while they were making pancakes for dinner.

It was an easy yes for Hannah. Brandon had planned a beautiful lakeside proposal with mountain scenery. It is evident that God put Brandon and Hannah together. Though extremely different, they encourage and bring out the best in one another. Their story has just begun.
